7/ Whilst Infura has done amazing things for greater adoption of blockchain technology, it did come at the cost of decentralisation and it's easy to see that this level of centralisation has the danger of being a single point of failure in the Ethereum network.

A pocket node is a gateway into the pocket network. When you connect an ETH node to a pocket node, it allows ETH transactions from that node to relay through the pocket network. A single pocket node can have multiple blockchains connected to it.

So you have a grasp of the Pocket Network and why it is important, but you might be asking how is it doing? Is the network growing and are there many relays?
Yes. Relay growth is parabolic.
309 million relays over the past 24 hour period. Thats an annualized run rate of ~113 billion relays and a 62% increase in just the past 2 days. Even if relay growth stagnates from here, thats a 79x year over year increase.
If you're still sleeping on $POKT, you're simply ngmi.

$POKT is a bet on the whole multi-chain space.
26/ As developers sought to deploy in environments other than Ethereum, Pocket Network activity picked up.
Developers need high quality read/write bandwidth. Pocket delivers that a very competitive price point.
$POKT might just be one of the best ways to go long multi-chain.

You can only buy OTC currently, which is why $POKT has been kept a bit of a secret, but we are expecting that to change imminently.

If you have managed to buy some $POKT (you need around 15,050 to run a node), then you should look into running a node.
If you are technical, you might want to look into running one yourself, but there are other easier ways to stake your $POKT and put it to work.
