Gm friends, Bitcoin had a very strong monthly close, and the longer term trend is currently very much intact. I personally think Bitcoin has opened itself up to more investors as it showed tremendous relative strength during this period of volatility for all markets. Fund managers pay attention to risk adjusted returns.
“Sell in May and walk away”… will this time be different? We had a very bad Q1, so it’s possible, but have to mindful of seasonality.

Spotlight: Kamino
Pretty big news for Kamino this week as it announced a major integration with Chainlink. I think this is really significant.
It is a major security upgrade, and opens up Kamino to even more risk adverse DeFi users (institutions and whales).
This chart is quite a remarkable one. Kamino actually grew in SOL deposits and borrows in the last few months. It highlights that DeFi users really do have a lot of trust in the protocol, as usually we see contractions in DeFi apps during very turbulent moments.
Kamino is cementing itself as the backbone of DeFi on Solana.
