5 Alpha Tweets - ETH & SOL vs Corporation L1s, Hyperliquid Capturing CEX Marketshare & More
Edition 167
Welcome to the alpha please newsletter. I curate five alpha tweets every week - that’s it, that’s the newsletter.
Gm friends, BTC looks fairly weak right now. Is the best explanation just seasonality? Hard to say, markets are full of noise, and we can always come up with an answer to suit the short term.
Alts have shown quite a bit of strength, which is probably an indicator of where we are in the cycle (late).
I still think BTC has another move up eventually, probably after more people capitulate calling the cycle top.

An interesting perspective (some will call it fud) on how corporate L1s may become the main destination for stablecoins in the future.

3. Hyperliquid is capturing market share
A data thread showing Hyperliquid’s growing fundamentals.
4. Podcast with Jordi on wealth, crypto & the future
A fascinating conversation with Jordi Alexander on a wide range of topics.

“We believe prediction markets today are where DeFi was in 2019.”
Connor maps out the prediction markets landscape and breaks it down into different categories. Lots of apps for you to save to a watchlist.
Yield of the week (brought to you by Kamino)
SyrupUSDC LTVs have increased on Kamino, meaning you can now increase leverage for potentially higher yields.
SyrupUSDC Multiply already offered some of the best risk-adjusted yields in DeFi, and now it’s even better.
At the time of writing, SyrupUSDC/USDC is showing 23%+ APY at max leverage.
Make sure you understand how Kamino Multiply works before depositing any funds.

A provocative chart worth looking at.
DeFi Credit Card I like
You’re earning double-digit APY in the Liquid USD vault, using your card in borrow mode (no tax), buying what you want, and earning 3% cashback.
Pretty wild, and a no-brainer if you’re serious about using crypto in real life.
And that’s your alpha.

You think Hyperliquid can sustain its share even next year when the bear starts?
